Summarize what you've been up to for the last 50 years.
Two years ago (2018) I was made a staff director at THIRTEEN, the NY station for PBS. I am currently directing AMANPOUR & COMPANY, FIRING LINE WITH MARGARET HOOVER, NEWSHOUR WEEKEND and a lot of shows for ALL ARTS, the new downloadable 24/7 arts channel that we started last year. Due to the pandemic I have been mostly directing from home via ZOOM. Glad to be able to contribute and keep our shows on the air. I have also become an Upper East Side resident after 22 years of being below 23rd Street in NYC. From 2013 to 2018, I was a freelance director for WNET/Thirteen after 33 years at ABC NEWS directing World News, 20/20, many specials and traveling the globe. Had the honor of working 20 years with Peter Jennings and also with Ted Koppel, Charlie Gibson and Diane Sawyer. Also direct a syndicated show, HIRING AMERICA, which helps veterans find jobs and transition to civilian life.
